Practice of Meditative Sleep to Improve Sleep Quality

"Sleep is the best medicine," and it's true. The quality of your sleep affects the quality of your life. The more comfortable your sleep, the less time you need for rest, and the more effective you will be during the day.

So, how can you improve your sleep? It's simple: add meditation. For some, it will be enough to just lie down and relax, while others may need a special practice called "sleep meditation." You will notice how your sleep becomes calmer and your awakenings better.

The first step is to release the emotions accumulated during the day. These can be not only negative emotions; sometimes even positive emotions can prevent you from relaxing. To avoid this, take a notebook and write down your thoughts, describing what happened during the day. Such a diary will absorb your energetic impulses.

This ancient tradition of journaling was popular for a reason. If a situation occurred during the day that you couldn't resolve, write down a plan for possible future actions in your diary. By doing this, you will reduce your worries, and through visual stimulation, a solution might emerge from the depths of your subconscious while you sleep.

After this, proceed to the meditation itself.

1. Lie down, place your hands on your abdomen, and feel your breath as the air fills and leaves your body.

2. Create in your mind a place where you feel completely calm and comfortable.

3. Feel your body relax. Make each part of your body relax, starting from your head and moving down to your feet. Try to release tension from each part of your body. If you think your body is relaxed, take a breath in and out, and relax further.

4. Begin to visualize a dream. Yes, you heard that right, try to create a pleasant, calm dream in your mind. Start from a place where you feel comfortable. How your dream develops is up to you, try to create the most relaxed state, filling the dream with the most pleasant events.

Remember that meditative sleep should be joyful yet calm. Do not fill it with emotions and experiences, even positive ones.

Once you have decided on the place where you want to start, do not linger there and move on. Follow the voice of your intuition, observe what is happening around you, but avoid analysis and thoughts.

Aim for a clear mind by distancing yourself from thoughts. It is important to suppress and eventually eliminate rational analysis of what is happening in meditative sleep.

Meditative sleep is a way not only to recharge with energy but also to gain new information. By maintaining such a calm, purified state, you will discover the unknown. Do not try to remember what happens in meditative sleep, as it is more important to reach a new level. This will not only give you energy for action but also fill you with inner light.
